Beyonce has penned a heartfelt poem in honor of her daughter Blue Ivy. The poem, titled "Bey The Light," appears in the upcoming issue of CR Fashion Book, the high fashion magazine from former French "Vogue" editor Carine Roitfeld.
In lieu of a cover interview, the superstar gets even more personal in her own words, which the publication says is "remixed" by well-known poet Forrest Gander. Beyonce calls two-year-old Blue Ivy her "biggest muse" and speaks about her bond with children and her spirituality.
She also touches on her identity as an entertainer, calling herself "a vessel for all that isn't right" and says that she "summons God" to help her "let go of pain that people can't bear." Beyonce ends the piece with a wish for a world for her daughter where "no one roots for others to fail" and where "we all mean what we say."
The new issue of CR Fashion Book hits newsstands on September 4th, which is also Beyonce's 33rd birthday.
